And in more ways than one! Work has become a mobile experience. The demand by you, our customers, was clear and well understood: you expressed a desire to be able to work "Anytime, Anywhere," and on the device of your choise: be it a PC, a tablet PC, a Mac, an iPad or an iPhone.
So we successfully released one 'mobile' (or 'web') app after the other: joblogger and relations mobile, DMS, File Management, etc., - all of these giving full control over your data, anytime, anywhere. The many positive reactions and the success of our webinars are strong testimony to that.
We therefore would like to explicitly thank you for the trust you set in Cicero Lawpack. This trust was confirmed in 2011 by the fact that some major European law firms signed up with us.
For 2012, we commit ourselves to continue to be your partner 'on the move,' by providing you with more applications, both mobile and other, which will render your work more satisfying and effective.

Our web applications have proven very popular. We are therefore pleased to introduce the newest member of the family to you, the 'Case Management' web application. With this module you can consult entire case files from your browser, wherever and whenever you want. It is not necessary to have CICERO LawPack running in the 'cloud' to achieve this. You only have to install the module on your own IIS server. As soon as you update the server to the latest version, which only has to be done once, the application is available to all users. You don't need to use 'MS Windows Update' to be able to reap the benefits of this module.
Collecting outstanding fees is vital for the financial health of your office. It's not exactly a fun activity, and it tends to be time-consuming. But CICERO wouldn't be CICERO unless we'd be able to come to the rescue with a brand new module.
Follow-up of debtors by telephone has just become much easier and more efficient:
- You create a selection of debtors (using different criteria)
- You can sort the list alphabetically or eg with the highest outstanding amount at the top so that the first phone calls are the most "profitable".
- Instead of having to find and dial the numbers you can just click a link or a skype address, and the number is dialed automatically.
- While talking to your client you can zoom in on any invoice or payment.
Last but not least, CICERO allows you to define one set procedure for the entire law firm to collect outstanding debts.

On Sunday, March 27, 2011 the Flemish Order of Bar Associations ('Vlaamse Orde van Balies') organized its second advocatenrun. Once again, the event took place in the beautiful Soignes (Zoniënwoud' Duboislaan, Hoeilaart). Under the heading "Masterful jogging in the Soignes" ("Meesterlijke jogging in het Zoniënwoud") the participants could choose from different distances. CICERO LawPack was co-sponsor of this event, which once again was a great success! Both lawyers and non-lawyers took part, under ideal weather conditions. The results can be found here.
The Miveco law firm from Lommel has been using Cicero for a long time. The various applications of the package were gradually introduced over the past 25 years, somewhat in parallel to the developments within the office. We probed advocate Bart Cools with regard to his findings, as well as those of his colleagues in connection with Cicero LawPack.

In an ever changing and fast moving market, lawyers and law firms need to rely on clear management information.
